Ulhasnagar: Goods train stopped between Badlapur and Ambernath, affecting railway movement

Ulhasnagar: On Monday morning, a freight train travelling from Badlapur to Mumbai CST station was halted between the Badlapur-Ambernath segment due to a technical issue. As a result, local and postal express trains on the upline were halted for more than an hour. Suburban local trains and postal express traffic on the upline between Karjat and Badlapur stations were impacted, according to railway officials. "At 8.40 a goods train stopped between Up Karjat-Badlapur section," Central Railway said in a statement. This had an impact on upward suburban local trains and UP Mail Express traffic. To clear the halted goods train, an auxiliary engine was dispatched to Badlapur. Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the passengers."

Kalyan-Karjat downline stalled

Student commits suicide after getting low marks in NEET
